Greatest Dream (poem)

Waiting for the news.

Something is going to break. I don't know what,

But it will.

Quietness filled blues.

The Earth will begin to quake.

My eyes are never shut.

My cursed pill.

Silence is golden but deafening.

The world is a cruel beast.

The clock continues to bleed,

as I continue to scream.

Everyone claims cash is king,

but I can only afford the least.

Who is going to do the deed,

and fulfill my greatest dream?
