The Creepness (Poem)

Writer's picture: J Denison ReedJ Denison Reed

I'm cold

I've emptiness in my soul.

The creepiness is moving in.

It's starting to take hold.

Don't look

It's got me in it's hooks.

The creepness around me is warm.

Cradles me in it's nook.

Feed me.

It drains me - bleeds me.

The creepness whispers in the wind

No one needs me.

The Fire.

Life's burning desire.

It scorched the creepness until char.

Calls the creep a liar.

My light.

Shining deep and bright.

The creepiness feeds no more.

Left with clear sight.
